Once Maitrey asked muni Parashar to explain the three aspects of astrology .
Parashar praising maitreya for raising the topic for the good of the world ,
bowed to Laxminarayana the creator and bramha saraswati and finally bowing to the lord of planets Sun explained the science knowb as eyes of Vedaas .This science if told to undeserved will bring miseries everyday without fail .
Hence we restrict our lessons only to the phalit bhaga and not to the core astrology.
Parashar continues ……
Eko avyaktatmako Vishnuranadi: Prabhurishvarah Shuddhasatvo Jagatswamy Nirgunastrigunanvita:
There is only one God ,who is imperceptible ,timeless beginingless and prabhu[king ,owner ,controller] of all ,full of auspicious qualities ,lord of the universe ,diferent from prakruti and manifested into nature in three gunas, by name Vishnu.
He creates the world ,and is all powerfull , with one of his amsha he creates playfully this entire jagat.
His manifestible aspects are three . His vyaktaaavyakta rupa is known as Vasudev and is accompanied by two shakti [ Shree and Bhu] .Three aspects are satva rajas tamas , white red and blue [dark] , are sridevi bhudevi and durga.
Vasudev with sri gives Anirudhda , bhu gives Pradymna and durga gives rise to Sankarshana the tamo pradhana.
Avyakta , mahat and ahankara primarily rise in this word due to these three pairs .
Avyakta is Vishnu himself , Mahatttatwa is Body of Bramha , Ahankara tattwa is divided into three 1> Vaikarik 2> taijas 3> tamas
Vaikarik is body of Garuda
Taijas is the body of Shesha
Tamas Ahankara tatawa is the body of Rudra.
Vaikarik gives rise to indriyas : shrotrendriya ,chakshushendriya ,ghranendriya,rasenendriya ,tvagendriya
Taijas gives rise to Shabd,roop ,gandha ,rasa,sparsh
Tamas gives rise to akash ,tej,prithvi,apa,vayu
Lord Vishnu with Sri Shakti rules over entire world
with Bhoo Shakti he is Bramha causing creation
with Neela Shakti he is Shiva destroying the world during pralaya.
Sarveshu cahiva jeeveshu Parmatma virajate !
Lord dwells in all of the jeevas ,All are supported by him.These two are present in all te bodies .In some jeevas appear to be more predominant ,In planets like Surya etc Parmatma’s presence is more predominant and visible .
All the jeevas emerge from thes tatvas with predominanace of jeevamshas and take birth a s humans , Parmatma amshas take avataras on the earth .
Jeevas live their lives as per their karma indicated by motion of the planets [ as they have emerged from them as amshas , a part exists up there to keep control over it] and at the time of destruction[pralaya]merges back into these .
Thus unfolds the theory of Jyotish , All bramhins must learn it to attain divine insight , those who disrespect this science go to the hell named “Rowrava” and will be reborn as blind man
Why blind man?
because this science is known as Jyotish ! Jyoti means light , jyotish means science of light . Usually light in the world is used to see things that can be seen [solid objects and other visible phenomena] . These are known as drushta [ visible objects] . BUT Jyotish is such light that not only shows visible “drusta ” but also shows ” Adrushta ” [ invisisble like our fate and destiny ]
Those who refuse to acknowledge this and insult this science , are actually insulting the light , that means they by saying we dont’ velieve in astrology are infact saying we dont’ believe in light !!!! , Thus light is deprived for them in the next birth and they are born as blind men.
Idam Pratyaksham shastram !!!!
All the sciences ask the humans to assume certain things before learning them , Jyotish is the only shastra which proves itself before learning .

There are many illuminating bodies in the space . some are still and some are moving. the still ones are known are nakshatras . And others are known as grahas.
There are 27 nakshatras : Aswini ,bharini,krittika,rohini,mrigasira,aridra,punarvasu,pushyami,ashlesha,
magha,purvaphalguni,uttaraphalguni,
hasta,chitta,swati,vishakha,anuradha,
jyestha,
moola,poorvashadha,uttarashadha,shravana,dhanistha,shatabhishaga,
poorvabhadra,
uttarabhadra,Revati.
There are 12 rashis in a zodiac : Mesha,vrushabha,mithuna,karkataka,simha,kanya,tula,vruschika,dahnu,
makara,kumbha,meena.
The rising sign at the birth on the lattitude of birth place is known as ascendant [lagna].
Names of the planets are : Sun ,moon,mars,mercury,jupiter,venus,saturn,rahu and ketu.
Sun saturn,mars ,rahu and ketu , descending moon are all malefics. rest jupiter venus mercury moon are benefics, mercury with malefics is malefic.
sun is the soul , moon is the mind, mars the strength, mercury is speech , jupiter is knowledge and happiness, venus the potency [semen] ,saturn is the misery.
Sun moon are royals , mars the army chief, mercury the prince, jupiter venus the ministers, saturn the servant , rahu ketu the army.
Sun is red like blood , moon is tawny, mars is not tall but red , mercury is green , jupiter is yellow, venus is blue , saturn is black.
sun is governed by agni , moon by laxmi ,mars by subramanhyam,mercury by vishnu,jupiter by Indra, venus by sachi , saturn by bramha.
mercury saturn are eunuchs , sun jupiter mars are males , moon and venus are females.
mars is fire, mercury earth, jupiter ether , venus water , saturn the air.
jupiter and venus are bramhins , sun mars are kshatriya moon mercury are vaishyas , saurn is sudras , rahu is pratilomaj ketu is anulomaj

The signs [ Aries to pisces ] are known as chara[movable] sthira[fixed] , ubhaya[dual] in order.
The person born in these have qualities similar to those indicated by the signs . The character of people born in chara will be everchanging. it remains steady and firm in fixed signs and sometimes steady and sometimes changing in dual signs.
The first navamsa of chara sign , middle navamsa of fixed sign and end navamsa of dual sign are Vargottam navamsa . If at birth lagna falls in vargottama sign the person will rise to important position in life and be head of the family or society he lives in.

What about a full moon in 4th house conjuct with Ketu? Would the presence of full moon in 4th house be beneficial to the mother? Full moon conjuct with Ketu should also indicate birth on a lunar eclipse. Is it true that people born on lunar eclipse days are more spiritual. I request you to kindly elaborate on this topic.
