One strange experience: Our co. was run buy a german national.. who was MD (68yrs).. he died in bangalore 2yrs back… His mother who was 90+ is in oldage home in berlin.. the next day after his son was cremated in bangalore ,his mother sent an e-mail through the care taker askig about his son’s health. I still do not know how in world she could feel that his son is not well…Nobody told about her son’s death to her…there must be some invisible wire attached to mother and son..
Hari’s act is very Stange

its been a month since i cremated my uncle / he had no sons … died at 52 ,
what was upsetting was ….near by corpses and other ethnic groups’ treating of dead
the cremation ground was so big … yet all dead were placed at a feets distant .. such gross disrespect for dead … some tribes placed non veg .. liquors idly vada dosa on the dead .. some brought fresh lambs chicken ostrich and slaughtered them on dead pouring blodd onto it … making wierd noises ….as pyre lit .. one could see tens of head at close quarters [feet to half feet ] explode and bodies overlapping and burning .. there were woman group who would get into frenzy … loud banging of drums ..some ethnic celebrated the dead …with dance liquor and meat right infront as pyre were lit .. some were creamated sitting and it rolled over … atmosphere was not …
why should all ethnic beliefs combine .. cant one be peaceful even in death …..

Your silence on the blog and above few lines denote the deep pain you are going through.
The stark difference in my opinion is these people are not cultured by customs and do not think this act as a Yagnya instead it becomes one last act of appeasement of the departed person. I have gone through this situation once and it is very disturbing.
We pray to Lord Vasudeva, Vayu to take care of your beloved Uncle in the journey after. May Lord be with your Family in this painful hour.
Humble Regards Acharya
