Yes , hanuman is chiranjeevi,He is living in Kimpurush khanda . Towards south of Jambudweepa ,around 50000 yojanas ,20000,ilavratkhanda, 9000 yojanas are occupied by himvathavarsha, 2000 by kimpurushvarsha,2000 by Bharathvarsha, seperated by kesar parvats and himalaya parvatas.
Karma leading to debilitated planets?
panchapatakas are 1.bramha hatya 2.stree hatya,3.bhrun hatya,4.go hatya,5suvarnastava(stealing gold)
These five sins are non pardonable by God ,these manifest as debilitated planets in the horoscope.

Navamsa indicates peace of mind and life after marriage.A debilitated or inimical planet is called ashanth avastha. it spoils the effects even if it exalted elsewhere.

I will suppose that the planet is in dusthana in navamsa itself. Based on that , when a planet is in dusthana in navamsa , it denies the native its karakatva , that has been promised by the rasi position. say a jupiter in eigth in navamsa , though exalted in rasi will still hinder results making one ill at study of shastra. debilitation will make him suffer bouts of dumbness at certain period in the liofe when saturn transits the said planet in the navamsa during the gochara.
The above result is extracted from “chandrakala nadi”.

Why do we quote Mahabharatha ,Ramayana and other puranas ?
Astrology is vedanga . It is foremost tool to decipher vedas as it is known as eyes of vedas. Mahabharath is the essence of vedas . Analysis of events of this itihas through astrology can only lead to right knowledge. Also Lord vedvyasa has declared that he has cleared all the doubts on various topics( about humans) in Mahabharatha . Thus there exist a solution to every problem in this grantha. Above all Mahabharatha can be read by one and all without restrictions of caste, creed ,sex and place.The only qualification required is one has to be Vishnu Bhakta . Thus Mahabharatha is placed above Vedas.

4. views on pravajya yoga/combination of four planets or more in one rashi
5. panchadhamaitri – whether applicable for dasa/antardasas of planets in the same house whether would act as enemies, to share surprisingly i could get two assignments in the sani-mangal dasa late2005/and early 2006
6. whether bhavas to be calculated plus/minus 15 degress from bhava madhya or by dividing the number of degrees between degree of the ascendant and the midheaven and arriving at size of the bhava, whether the terms bhava chalita and nirayana bhava differentiate these methods
7.whether a malefic planet aspecting its own rashi would boost the prospects of the house positively, say sani aspecting 4th house makara from the 2nd house in principle or all the more cause negative results with own aspect, or result would depend on where sani is deposited/sign etc
8. whether lower ponts are desirable for 6/8/12 houses or for malefics in the ashtakavarga and positive readings be arrived at, higher points meaning more evil
9. whether gochara results are equally applicable from lagna/surya or the results from the position of the moon would get modified in terms of good and bad positions from the lagna/surya – normally not discussed in the context of gochara, while gochara application from lagna are often encouraged
10. whether uranus/neptune/pluto are becoming acceptable under hindu astrology

your questions are the ones which every astrologer gets while studying astrology through the books written by modern astrologers .once you read classics in original sanskrit and not translations. these queries stand no locus.let me answer each :
All the answers are not my construed opinion but the dictums of rishis.
1.Lal kitab, astrology as laid by 18 rishis are only valid. others are not valid.remedies as prescribed in sadshastras only gives results ,rest are only menial upasana leading to grief,confusion and mental imbalance.
2.this question is unclear ….. male and females are born in all nav lagnas . They are calculated in same way for both.
3.Yogini dashas give powerful explicit results
4.pravrajya yoga kindly follow blog to get a detailed article on this soon .
5.panchdhamaitri- familiarity breeds contempt is highlighted by two planets in same house ,for all other purpose they augment each other.
6.there is no mention of bhava madhya in classics. however in explaining sunrise, half disc is considered as rise in the east , same analogy is carried out to bhava by some. But while calculating ashtakavarga effects ,bhava arambha is shared with two rasis. mean points are taken to predict effects.
7.Any planet aspecting its own house will boost the prospects.but the word is ‘bhavapushti’,'vridhhi’.not benefic or malefic.
8.no lower points do not foretell positive , it is comparative lower with lagna or 11 that counts.
9.Gochara results do not manifest if ashtakavarga is strong. suppose if there are more number of points in a rasi which happens to be 12th from moon in sani ashtakvarga, this person will face no sade sathi. he will on the contrary see very good days. only when astakvarga is weak ,gochara comes into effect provided dasa is also weak.
10.Astrology is about nine grahas and upagrahas mentioned in vedanga , all other erroneous bodies even though they exist do not exhibit control on humans.
even planets navagraha as a planetary mass does not exihibit any influence on humans, it is Shri Narayana as shimshumara chakra in bhuvarloka , that gives results in the form of planets.
planets give results according to dictum in vedanga and not as some scientific phenomena.
It is primarily Lord who does all this cause and effects ,planetary motion is just nimmittha.

What is Janma Nakshatra?
Janma Nakshatra is the star in which moon is posited at the time of the birth. Accordingto Satyacharya , when Lagna is powerful than moon then star in which lagna is placed becomes Janma Nakshatra.here strength is calculated on the basis of mere exaltation, vargottama ,aspect of jupiter or kartari yoga. swanavamsa only.

Prarabdha cannot be avoided ,one has to undergo prarabdha ,however the end results can be modified by the will of GOD , performing chaturmasa vrata and adhik masa vrata can change prarabdha

I heard this from Sri SatyatmaTirtharu. I quote this here with your permission.
God by his benevolence nullifies our Aprarabdha Karma after hearing the sincere prayer of his Bhaktas. However, Prarabdha Karma cannot be avoided.
Example:
We buy a 100kg bag of Rice. The entire quantity of rice inside the bag is meant to be consumed by you, but you do not consume it in one go. You take a measured quantity, cook it and then consume. After cooking, you have picked a handfull of rice for eating.What rice you have selected for eating is Prarabdha Karma you have to consume it. What is still left inside the sack can be consumed or not is discretion which will be Aprarabdha Karma. God nullifies what you are yet to experience, provided you follow Bhagavata Dharma.

why should something in the sack bother us . everybody is bothered about whether coming future immediate is good or bad , if bad how to escape it . as we come to earth we have already taken a morsel in the hand , so all we are bothering is prarabdha only . Saying God cannot change prarabdha will cause udaseenata . entire Bhagavat speaks about how Lord comes to help of those who are his bhakta . ajameedha , prahlad , draupadi , pandavas , sudama etc all these were saved by Lord while they were in prarabdha only .
when we say prarabdha cannot be avoided what is meant by it is , Prahlad could not have avoided an inimical father , Hiranyakashipu would not have becoe hari bhakta by the penace of Parahalad .[ hiranyakashipu should have died at the hands of Narsinha ] this is prarabdha , pandavas going to vanavas is prarabdha , ajameedha marrying sudra woman is prarabdha . His naming his son NARAYANAis prarabdha [ all these could not have changed]

Hello krishnarpana,all the things you have stated here in regard with Great Karna are truly wrong. I am able to change your view for Karna at each and every points you have stated, but you seem to be influenced purily by serials and stories heard everywhere. Before writing something for someone you have choosen, you should keep your mind stable. If you have already made your mind that he was bad then how could you describe him with truthness and purity.
Do you know when Lord Krishna was giving knowledge of Gita in the battlefield to Arjun. There were Seven person(apart from Sanjay) who were able to here him live. They were Bheeshm Pitamah, Karn, Dronacharya, Ashwathama, Kripacharya, Lord Hanuman and Barbareek.
And Lord Krishna himself said that in whole Mahabharat only Bheesm and Karn were the two who have truly followed the Teaching of Gita.
There are many more things about Karna, but I dont’t think you are here to discuss truth. It seems you all will always hear and continue with the same misinterpreted information that you earn.

The fact that you have addressed me as Krishnarpana ,shows you do not have understanding of the word Krishnarpana, Title of the blog is Chiraan’s astrology .Also I can safely assume you are not yet initiated into philosophy. You have scant knowledge of mahabharath and vedic studies in particular.
kindly give some scriptural proof before uttering words of misconception, first of all writings in these posts if you have understood them a bit could be easily known to have been written after intense vedic study. very fact that you have dismissed them as a influence of tv and serial, speaks a lot about your analysis. secondly kindly let me know which version of mahabharath that you have read tells that seven people heard live bhagavadgeeta , kindly let me know if you have read original mahabharath in sanskrit or english translation.Karna was not present in the battlefield[on the day of geeta upadesha] till Bheeshma fell.Please get your facts right before venturing to offer your arguments.
what we are discussing here is about vedic literature as it exists and interpreted by srimadanandtirtha [Madhvacharya ,I pity if thyself has ever heard of this great name of the saint ,who is incarnation of Hanuman] and in their treatises and commentaries on vedic literature.
not any concocted stories that appear elsewhere.
these are supported by bramhand purana verses, bhagvat,and sangraha ramayana .

But as I see you are stick with your proudness of knowledge, friend ! always remember knowledge means gyaan and gyaan has no limitation and it comes to those who have crave for it, it is earned with each fraction of time(that is my experience) Wanted to inform you that “Acharya Shree Madhavacharya” is not an incarnation of Lord Hanuman, he is third incarnation of Vaayu Dev. And you said that Karn was not present in the battlefield on the day of Shrimadbhagwad Geeta’s incarnation, for that gothrough the 1st and 2nd chapter of ShrimadbhagwadGeeta itself.
Now something unknown about Karna:
Karna’s charioteer Shalya, who was Pandavas’ uncle had agreed to the pandavas that he’d try to insult Karna whenever possible, and he did exactly that, to lower Karna’s morale to help pandavas. In short, while Arjun’s charioteer helped Arjun, Karna’s charioteer was helping Arjun and Co. as well.
And every great man in Mahabharat praised Karna for who he was. Regardless of whether you like him or not, that fact cannot be changed. The whole kingdom was his birthright. Krishna, his mother and Bheeshma offered the whole world at his feet, yet he was respected by them even more because he wasn’t tempted, and he kept his loyalty and did his duty.
There is something special about these 3 people – Bheeshma, Drona and Karna.
1. No one in the Pandavas could kill either of the 3, because all 3 of them were greater than them all.
2. All 3 of them were disciples of sage Parashuram.
3. All 3 of them met their end as a result of the Pandavas cheating, because they couldn’t win straight on.
Among these, Bheeshma and Karna have even more similarities.
Both were born with blessings that made them virtually immortal. While Bheeshma could die only when he wishes, Karna was immortal and invincible against all celestial weapons with the armor and earrings that were part of his body.
The difference is, Karna gave away that part of his body to Lord Indra of the Gods, knowing he was trying to protect Arjun. He, and if you follow South Indian mythology – Mahabali, are the only 2 characters from whom a Deva begged for something.
In addtion, what seperates Karna from the other 2 great warriors, is that while they were cheated once, he was cheated no less than 6 times for this particular battle.
1. The curse of Parashuram, thinking Karna was a Kshatriya since he was a mortal enemy of kshatriyas. Karna at this time didn’t know he was a kshatriya. This curse was a blessing for Arjuna, protecting him.
2. The curse of the brahman, as a result of accidentally killing his cow. Though an accident, he recieved the curse of the chariot sinking in the field, once again, a blessing for Arjuna, protecting him.
3. Indra begging the armor and earrings. Karna had the combined qualities of all 5 Pandavas, being the eldest of them, and was always loyal and gave anyone, anything they asked. Knowing everything, he gave them away.
4. Krishna disarms him by informing him about the pandavas being his brother. This caused his hatred for the pandavas to be destroyed, and it’s said that afterwards, his love for the pandavas rivaled that of Bheeshma’s to them. Yet he kept fighting just like Bheeshma, to fulfil his duty.
5. Kunti disarms him and safeguards her 4 sons, by the boon given by Karna that he would not kill any of them except Arjun.
6. Using Ghatotkach to steal Karna’s shakti gained from Indra to protect Arjuna. Khadotkaj’s duty was fulfilled and Arjun was saved.
And at last, even with all the above 6, none of them, even Arjun could kill Karna. Yet Karna with the curses and the knowledge that he’s fighting his brothers, was capable of killing all of them. He spared all save Arjun, and Arjun could not defeat him except by cheating somehow.
Krishna knew this, and when the curses took effect, he knew that the only way to kill Karna was when he was unarmed, and the moment was taken advantage of.
Go and study Ved Vyas Mahabharat and Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran.
And one thing very important that inspite of studying all the veds,vedaangs, purans and upnishads (as you say you did) I got hold of my Father-Mother, Gayatri Maa, my Gurudev, my Gurumantra and 3rd chapter of Shrimadbhagwat Geeta.

we are in a discussion on a topic whereby you have putforth some comments which are debatable, there is no scope for personal egos in these , however let me assure there is no hurt either , i welcome the fact that you have taken a stance to debate , but debate goes on only on facts that are tenable ,not on impressions and prejudiced assumptions.[debate should help in advancement of tattva]. Astrology is not mystique as you have opined, it is vedanga ,it is a valid and justified tool to decipher Vedas and and other shastras. People who fall short of intellect [given the oceanic nature of vedanga] brush it off as untenable ,mystique etc.
Let us come one by one to your points.
first of all Acharya Madhva is incarnation of Hanuman only ,he has not descended from moolroopa of Vayu.
Bhagavdgeeta mentions Duryodhana speaking about karna as from his side to his preceptor and not being present in the army.[he was always accesible to the Kauravas in case bheeshma fell early to take over the reins]
Shalya takes on the mantle as sarathi only when Karna is appointed as Commander in Chief. that was after Bheeshma fell to the arrows of Arjuna.Karna was decisively not on the battlefield as he was addressed as Ardharathi . Bheeshma wanted to save him for the last.
Shalya himself was decietfully taken on Duryodhana’s side, upon that a great warrior like him was made to be charioteer to Karna ,only to psychologically elevate him to equal Arjuna. is there any comparision between Arjuna’s charioteer [Lord Krishna ] and Shalya ,shalya himself was averse to the idea, Karna persisted only out of ego.He deserved discouragement thus.
everyone praised Karna, Karna was incarnation of Soorya [a divine] hence he had some devata like qualities and valour [not equivalent to arjun] ,these were definitely praised [every good man praises whatever little good others have,this is greatness of the good Bheeshma others ,not Karna].But Karna also had the presence of daitya suryavarman ,here all his bad acts are attributed to this demon.
Karna was not the son of Pandu , thus Kingdom cannot be birthright.[just like kingdom was not birthright of Duryodhana ,even after being son of caretaker King Dhrutrashtra].
He was offered world to tempt him towards righteousness, The height of evil is they are intent on doing evil to Arjuna[friendship was his selfish aide].
a duty conscious man [if he was] then his primary duty was towards Lord Krishna ,which he could never think of , but he was prompt in quoting loyalty towards a evil duryodhana .[more than duty he was out to prove his greatness towards Arjun, which chance only Duryodhan could provide and not Krishna ]This is known as kapat in real world terms.
speciality is of Lord Parashurama that he taught these three BHeeshma ,Drona and Karna ,knowing that they would aide Duryodhan in garnering enough guts to wage war against Pandavas. Parashuram is lord all knowing ,yet he himself appointed these as guards for Duryodhan. this increases the emphasis of power fo pandavas.
Pandavas did not cheat Bheeshma Drona, Karna , they were already defeated all put together single handedly by Arjuna in Draupadi swayamvar, Viarat [Agyatvasa] Go samrakshana episode. where was Karna’s valour at that time , when ARjuna defeated him ,what about his Kavach Kunadal then] Arjuna proved outrightly he was great . Karna was only blabbering amassing pity over his birth ,and other misfortunes.
Brave dont lament over their misfortunes. Bheeshma and Drona were killed in a fashion not to attract sin on account of they being preceptors. [everything was done as suggested by Krishna]. Dronacharya had clearly mentioned to Duryodhana , I shall protect you along with my family ,i shall take to weapons even though being a Bramhin ,but know it firmly even I will not be able to save you from BHeema.
Karna was defeted even before Mahabharath war by Bheema , in rajasooya digvijaya. At that time Karna had Kavach Kundala.
He could have killed him with kavach kundal also , but that would amount to insulting donor of kavach kundal. and thus kavach kundal had to be begged ,to keep its honor not greatness of Karna.
Now your other points. [mishaps to karna]
1. God Parashurama gave shapa , God knew he was kshatriya [God knows everything] , thus he taught him, it was foolish of Karna to have thought that he has tricked God , and also he had lied that he was Bramhin, thus he was rightly cursed.
2.Curse of a Bramhin, killing of a cow cannot be accidental , nothing is accidental , his loss of respect towards god , mother ,brothers,father ,friends,everything has rightly come to him as a curse. misfortunes wait to occur for those who are headlong and anti God.misfortunes get avoided for those who respect preceptors,parents ,freinds and others who have done some good.
3.Karna gave daana only to keep up his vrata that he would donate everything asked for till he kills arjuna. [ordinary people do vrata to obtain wishes, Greats perform vrata for Pleasing Vishnu] . He gave away kavach kundala fearing vrata bhanga and subsequently defeat at the hands of Arjuna , not out of bravery or devotion . Kavach kundal were divine present from Sun , they had to be preserved ,Arjunas arrows would have destroyed it anyhow, that would have brougth disgrace to Sun as having given false promise . Thus Surya ’s words were upheld by INDRA. Karna was destined to die for siding with Duryodhana. NO pity for him.
4.A kshatriya wages war with full force ,no matter brother or enemy, Arjuna had more love towards Kauravas,thus refused to wage war, he was sermoned by Krishna to wage a war as duty. Karna even after revealing that Arjuna was younger brother ,could not suppress his jealousy , thus could not promise Kunti that he would leave Arjun. this shows he had no love ,he was fighting for his honor [to prove he was greatest dhanurdhar ,which he was never ,time had proved it again and again]
5.Kunti does not disarm him , she makes an attempt to save him from sin of killing his brothers who were righteous , mother always wants her sons to be on the right path. She asks him to refrain, he bestows her with a boon to spare[ this is karna's ego that he is capable of killing pandavas, thus he offers boon] KUNTI{Krishna} had attempted to save Karna ,Karna felt he was being pampered , a sign of durabhimana.if he was a saint he could have offered to spare Arjuna also ?why only four?
6.Those who have weapons , it is their management to use or misuse ,Karna has used Shakti on Ghatotkacha ,its his mismanagement of resources , what Arjuna has done for it. Pity had he not used shakti ,even ghatotkacha would have finished him[it means obvious] that means Karna without Shakti was no match for Ghatotkacha ,[a small warrior compared to Arjuna] , what this Karna would have fought Arjuna then without Shakti? your own illustration is proving Karna as an unfit warrior.
7.Arjuna had disarmed him totally , and refused to kill Karna, But it was Krishna who insisted to kill him as a punishment because Karna had killed Abhimanyu when he was disarmed.where was Karna’s valor when Abhimanyu was fighting , why he could not have killed him with his weapons on. Karna could not defeat even Abhimanyu with arms, Ghatotkacha by pure skill he had to use boons of INdra to kill them . He ran away from battlefield when Bheema attacked him. Was he a match to Pandavas. A cheat himself had died unworthily there is nothing wrong in it. [he had earned his skills by cheating, he lost it by cheating] You reap what you sow.
now do quote the verses from bharath or bhagavat where you can see karna having listened to Bhagavadgeetha [ and that barbareek].

Is it true that Lord Krishna went to Karna in the form of a poor brahmin and asked to give him all the puniyam he had earned by giving others whatever they asked as yachakam, while he was fighting for life, being protected by Drama devatha, from the arrows of Arjuna?
Is it true that Lord Krishna after receiving the puniyam from Karna, that he is the one who does everything in the world and he is the responsible for every act, that if people classify something as puniyam it will ultimately reach Krishna, if people classify something as papam it will also ultimately reach him only and blessed Karna by revealing his vishvaroopam?
If those words of Lord Krishna are true, why is Karna being blamed for the way he was, was it not Lord Krishna who made him do so? I have heard of a saying “Avan andri oru anuvum asayadhu” meaning not even a single atom can act on its own without the Lord’s will. Are we all acting on our own, is it not the Lord who is making us do whatever we do?

A very good question .
Firstly the story of krishna going to karna for dana is imaginative . Secondly it is true , not a twig moves without lord’s consent . evil is alos under Lord’s controll. Karna could not have done anything of the kind without Lord Krishna wanting him to do so . But Lord gives Karma of the jeeva according to his Nature , he gets satvik and truthful work done by Satvik people , and heinous crimes by Tamasic people . to show that they diid it according to their nature , he gives them opposite opportunities . Look Pandavas suffered all along , they lost power , wealth , happiness , sons , yet never lost faith in Lord . they did not hold Lord responsible for their miseries . But at the same time he gave all the luxuries to karna , he gave him education , kingdom , friendship with emperor , yet he could not leave Sinners . But Karna never went to hell for all his acts . as He always did his acts as the one directed by the Lord .

Why did Rama kill Vaali?
Vaali sugreeva were brothers . Vaali was incarnation of Indra , Sugreeva ,of Surya. Sugreeva sought help of Rama to finish Vaali. After tests by Sugreeva ,Rama sent Sugreeva to Fight Vaali.
Fisrt time HE did not kill Vaali.
Sugreeva came back .
Rama assured to kill ,put a garland to him.
Vali was killed from behind by Rama.
Philosophy.
why did Rama not kill him first time ?
Rama is God ,therefore thinking he did not recognise Vaali ,is untenable. When two brothers are at loggerheads ,they usually go to any extent in fight. But once revenge is over , There is sudden surge of brotherhood . and subsequent repentance[this is the nature of blood relation].Thus one must never interfere in a brotherly squabble.Chances are they unite and treat you as an outsider and even abuse you for instigating enmity.One must always give a chance to such reversal of mindset.
Rama spared Vali for the first time to bring such reversal of mindset towards his brother.
2. Why did he kill Vaali?
Vali had taken away wealth ,wife and belongings of his brother without any fault of his. So he was liable for punishment. Ram was a Kshatriya Chakravarti King and he had moral right [as a duty] to end Vaali’s life .
3. Why did he kill from behind and not in a straight war.
what Vali had done ,renders him into the category of Mrugas[animals] , Kings don’t wage war against animals , they hunt them or kill them as a disturbance for forest life.
Tatva:
Vali was Indra , he had natural Bhakti towards Rama , more than Sugreeva. Had Rama befronted him, he would have immediately asked forgivance and Rama would be compelled to leave him alive.
But crime of Vali was he had taken birth to serve Rama and in the flow of arrogance of power and might due to boons and strength , he forgot his duty [purpose of Birth] and befriended Ravana. Also he hurt Sugreeva [a devotee] , More importantly He was standing in a camp against Hanuman. Sugreeva on the contrary had befriended Hanuman and was under his guidance.
God only sides with the one who sides with Hanuman[Vayu]. HE does not prefer to see the face of those who go against Hanuman, even if they are his devotees]. [thus he kills Vali from behind to show going against Hanuman is unpardonable ].
[same Vali becomes Arjuna and sides with Bheema , Sugreeva becomes Karna goes against Bheema] Krishna ignores Karna and takes Arjuna very close.
Those who pray Lord Vishnu without Praying Vayu [hanuman] , God does not give any fruits ,however hard and devotionally one prays ,its of no use . God does not appear before them [like vali] and finishes them off from behind.
If you Pray Hanuman along with Vishnu only then you get your wishes fulfilled like Sugreeva and Arjuna].
Lord’s arrows are nothing but Vayu himself. When Arrows pierce heart of Vali[ Vayu enters his heart] , he gets knowledge , asks forgiveness to lord and Rama offers to give him back his life. But Vali refuses because he does not want to let go the chance of dying in the hands of Rama [which ensures Moksha].
Thus Vaali surrenders all his beloved things to the lords’ feet according to the dictum ” daraan sutaan priyaan ….nivedayet….”
This is what is known as Srikrishnarpanamastu .

Death cannot be predicted exactly as its date keeps changing due to everyday activity of the native.However longevity can be predicted . There are many ways of calculating longevity depending upon the strongest planet in the horoscope. if sun is strong ,method is different, moon method varies ,ascendant method varies. if saturn is strong method varies, hora lagna,varnada lagna, ashtakavarga contribute to longevity.
this is known as graha datta ayu.
there is also yoga ayu. longevity due to yogas.
after comparing the two ,
maraka dasha if it is operating in vimshottari at the same time when longevity exhausts ,then person dies.
however shoola dasha ,bramha graha and varnada dasha give more accuracy about death.

This world created by God is real. the experience of each of us stands testimony to us.This experience cannot be false. The non existence of world is never experienced. Neither can be seen its unreal nature.
If experiences of the soul in this real world are false and unreal then the thought to come out of this unreal to some imaginary real should also be unreal.
Because , such thoughts have occurred here in this world, these thoughts should also be unreal .
How can there be pursuit of the real from a unreal thoughts?
The world, if it is maya [unreal] , whom is it binding?
is the agent[soul], it is binding, real? If it is real then how a real entity is bound by unreal?
If there is only one [soul/Bramha] , then who is Bramha?
Is this Bramha all knowing or ignorant?
If he is all knowing then why he has to make efforts to come out of ignorance?[ if at all , all souls are one and equivalent to Bramha]
Thus soul cannot be equal to Bramha for he has to come out of ignorance . Paramatma [Bramha ]is all knowing and creator distinctly different from Atma.
There is no equality [eikya] between Parmatma and Atma.
Soul can be subjected to maya and creation is a chance for him to come out of this to attain moksha.
Even in this case also his subjection to maya and subsequent sufferings are real [vexed with it ,he makes an attempt for Moksha].
if it is unreal then, his getting vexed and efforts to attain moksha will also be unreal .why would one make a unreal efforts to attain happiness.
If his efforts are unreal and his sins in maya are also unreal then words of Veda to prohibit sins and encourage Merits [punya] will also become false and unreal.[ also meaningless].
Selectively declaring few verses as right and real and others as unreal also renders Vedas meaningless.
Thus Vedas rightly declares World is real ,World is real, World is real.
Vishnu is the only God ,none are either equal or greater than HIM.
all others are souls[atman/jeevas] distinctly different from him and dependent on him.

Mantras will be fruitful only when a valid guru gives it with his blessings after prolonged service. they should not be chanted wothout such upadesha. However a shloka can be chanted by everyone ,they are equally powerful.

Mantras are not discussed or written down . even a mantra if chanted is seen by others ,its effect is shared , thus people use lonely desrted places to chant mantras. Best mantras are those whose rishi and devata both are Narayana.[antaryami rushi] . Such mantras are not known to ordinary people. lajja beeja mantra of lakshmi is most powerful . Kuber mantras effective are dik mantras. This is the way mantras are declared . there cannot be elaborate lucid discussion on mantras. it is a secret science meant to be secret.

Retrogression gives an additional of 60 points[virupas].just as an exaltation gets 60 points. so naturally planet is strong.[not three times] .x+60~=3x . as far as result is concerned ,
|| vakrinastu mahavirya papa vyasanda shubha rajyaprada.||
that means a malefic retrograde will bring repeated misfortunes , and benefics will give success. there is no authentic source on neechbhanga. neecha planet gives neecha phala only but owing to retrogression , opportunities will flow towards native.

SriRaghavendra swamy fulfills the desires of the devotee instantly.
1.How are desires fulfilled?
2.There are so many saints and others who are also known for fulfilling desires. what is difference in these and Sri Raghavendra Swamy?
3.What is the extra benefit that is assured in following SriRaghavendra Swamy?
Desires are fulfilled with the aid of Punya.
Punya has to be operating when desires occur in our mind ,then they get fulfilled . We say ” I was lucky i got everything I desired
If you dont have punya then options left are
1.You kill your desires ,resorting to vedanta or some other kind of udaseenata.
2.Else you strive for it with hard work
you undertake upasana/vrata etc
3. You simply request your elders[capable] to get it for you.
The type of punya acquired determines the quality of enjoyments .

As discussed earlier type and quality of enjoyments is of paramount importance.
when we pray /approach some saint/devata/babas/etc these saints…/…. etc can grant us a boon in two ways
1.their prayer should entitle us to accumulation of Punya or gaining of merits
or these saints should be capable of creating it for us.
2.the accumulation can occur only when such pooja prayer is ordained in vedas puranas and the saint/devata etc are PuranaPurusha.
ie Strotras and suktas of devatas in Vedas give by themselves enormous punya to the self.
Most of the babas are not mentioned in purana or veda.
such babas can give results by giving their punya [if at all they have some]
or by magic[it can vary from indrajal to maya to bhuta vidya]
Yogis give punya by siddhi [ animaadi etc]
On the whole a saint has to give it from his pocket/balance etc.
That he should have acquired some merits himself.
This he must have acquired in his previous births only.
That means if he was an ordinary person in his previous birth his punya would have been ordinary and thus the results that one gets after getting this punya will also be ordinary .
Sometimes these punyas would have been tainted with some papa [on account of sinister intention ] , so we are also destined to get some grief on account of this sinister intention. If this is really big then you are actually inviting unhappiness in exchange for a small desire fulfillment. [ a great risk].
No person is perfect and hence his punya will not be perfect , thus desires fulfilled by these imperfect souls[babas] will also end in disappointments after a little wishful moments.
however ignorant of the cause and out of greed of fulfilment ,you again and again revisit the same baba ,lifelong. and your list of woes become unending and repetitive .You get caught into a vicious circle of mixed happiness[ you keep circling in samsara by the grace of menial babas /saints]
These are Rajas Saints as per Bhagavadgeeta
When such meetings always bring unhappiness and misfortunes then know for sure ,you are in the company of Tamas saints.
******** Sri Raghavendra swamy was earlier Prahlad [he is Purana Purusha].Praying him will give both natural punya as ordained by Shastras and at the same time , The saint himself has promised instant punya from his account .
What is the quality of Punya [ done by Prahalad].
Prahalad is the only bhakta who has never asked anything from the God. He is a true bhakta , whose bhakti is totally desireless. hence his punya is a pure one. Unmixed one. Such pure bhakti gives pure punya . This pure punya fulfills all desires to the complete satisfaction.
ordinary punya exhausts after it has been enjoyed.
Pure punya gives rise to enjoyments that leads to more Pure punya.
Thus with Sriraghavendra swamy you are assured of happiness[ desires getting fulfilled without any side effects or diminishing quality].They will never bring misfortunes , unhappiness or craving for more . It will full satisfying and complete.
To elaborate more , I shall narrate a story.
Once there was a tree which fulfilled all the wishes for those who took shelter under it. A peasant came by and took shelter under the tree in a scorching sun.He wished ” ah how nice it would be to have excellent shade covering my head to escape the sun. ” Instantly there was a shade .
after sometimes peasant desired ” ah how nice it would be if i had brought some meals along to enjoy in this shade” instantly there was a five course meals laid down before him .” He had a good meal and suddenly he thought his wishes are getting fulfilled instantly ,he looked around and there was nothing.
So he wished again to test whether he is dreaming or is it for real ” how nice it would be if i had a cot to sit on ” instantly a cot appeared . ” ah how about a cool breeze” thus flowed cool breeze and peasant dozed off .
After a good nap , he got up and suddenly a thought occurred ” i am alone in this forest under this tree , what if a ghost comes by !” instantly a ghost appears . ” what if this kills me !!! ” it kills him .
These are the qualities of kalpavriksha that can be seen in the world .
But SriRaghavendra swamy is such a Kalpavriksha who doesn’t fulfill the desires which are harmful to the devotee. Infact he does not even allow such disastrous thoughts cross the minds of his devotee . He constantly guides them to unmixed happiness helping them with his own punya where one falls short of . There will not be an iota of unhappiness once you are a ardent devotee of SriRaghavendra swamy .
Appanacharya says ” asukham kinchana” , unhappiness is on account of miseries , these never touch devotees of Raghavendra swamy .
[ but then you may be unhappy because of absence of happiness, absence of misery is okay but what about absence of sukha , this can also be a unhappiness.]
so he uses ” asukham ” that means even such absence of happiness will also not be there . that means one will be ever happy . “Natra samshaya” do not doubt this .
what’s additional benefit ?
Kamalanatho prasadodayat . In this world Only Vishnu can assure a Moksha for the devotees and No other deities can give Moksha . But by the grace of Narsimha , Prahalad has been granted a boon of recommending Moksha to his followers. Thus he can assure Moksha for all of us.
SaKshi Hayasyotra hi . These words told by appanacharya bear the testimony and sanction of Lord Hayagreeva himself .
Note: It is very difficult to achieve Moksha , one must learn all the shastras by heart , must have analysed them [its easy to know them but difficult to understand], test them and then one start his sadhana ,keeping unattached to all the karmas ,vighna,and helplessness towards miseries that occur in this world and in future births again and again.
even after learning all the shastras the real understanding of LOrd is rarely possible as this mind is very fickle and it wavers . even if we manage all these ,It is very rare that God will remain in the heart forever[state of samadhi] , the process becomes an exhaustive exercise, and sometimes we wonder why at-all all this ,cant there be a one step phenomena towards Moksha.
SriRaghavendra swamy is the only saint who has come down to simplify this whole exercise to a n enjoyable outing on this earth in this birth and yet another in the Vaikuntha.
All we need to do is like a good child who trusts none but his parents and sticks his tiny plam towards the little finger of his parents and he is assured he is not going to get lost.
Oh SriRaghavendra Gurusarvabhouma , i the child of this tatvavada lineage hold your finger , and I know when the doors of the Vaikuntha opens You will be the first to be let in , you never leave the hand of those who have faith in you ,like a child i would also follow you to Vaikuntha by the grace of Bharathi ramana mukhyapranantargata sri Lakshmi Narsimha .

According to them no reference can be found in any of the classical texts like Brihat Parashar Hora Shastra, Brihat Jatak, Saravali etc.

While I would dispute with the name kaal sarpa ,such reference are not found, but sarpa dosha ,ref is found in all the texts , even puranas mention sarpa dosha , so if the definition of the dosha is understood as per the classics ,then name should not matter .

1] Husband and wife relation is a natural relation . As I have stated in the blogs ,Souls have gender, Male or female ,God is bothe male and female. being husband and wife is eternal even in Moksha, wife gets moksha as her husband gets Moksha , till then wife has to wait in Lakshmi loka . To maintain this balance ,husbands’ half punya is given to wife ,and a wife does not share his sins.
Everytime same pair becomes wife and husband , sometimes this gets disturbed on account of sins , to get restored ,it takes seven births .But Lakshmi Vishnu Sarstwati Bramha ,Bharati and vayu never get disturbed even in avataras.

Marriages happen out of karma only , what type of marriage one undergoes [there are eight types of marriages] determines the amount of punya that one gives to his number of ancestors, [every karma that we do ,its consequences will be experienced by our ancestors[pitru] and also by those who will be born as sons and grandsons . first four types of marriages give punya to 21 ,11 ,7,3 ancestors . Fourth is gandharva marriage [this should not be confused with intercaste/religion marriage] ,this does not yield any punya . the other three gives papa rather than punya due to marrige.
When there is complete union of mind [ chittanukulya] whether before or after marriage is purely predestined and karma. But this is natural to the enlightened souls.

Marriage is just one among many of series of happiness or miseries that man undergoes in life . Type of marriage determines the type of progeny, unconventional marraiges give spritually less developed children. This in the long run puts a stop to giving tushti to ancestors and hence accumulates papa . Those who betray women , or have many wives and at the same time illtreat one of the wives 2. those who hurt in parents , kill or terrorrise these end up having unconeventional marraiges that end in disaster in the next life.
When happiness is destined and fulcrum of life is better conjugal life then also god gives Gandharva between equally [guni] pairs.
There is difference between anuraaga and moha . Moha is defined as wanting that which is not yours , anuraaga is natural towards which is yours , you dont strive for it , you don’t fear losing it , Moha always creates unrest in the mind . Unfortunately english language is short of words , love marriage out of moha is due to Papa of the past karma , love marraige due to anuraaga is due to Punya of past karma.
papa is defines as parpeedanam , punya is defined as that which brings happiness to many and is of beneficience to many.

There is no difference in predictive part of the astrology , as observed by you , yes but there is enhancements , but if you are refering to other than classic texts , then it cannot be considered as authentic and should be accepted with caution. Our sanatan Dharma tradition prohibits to accept anything without inquiry ,so even if I you or anybody says anything which is not supported by scriptures , it is debatable and if found uncorrelated ,it is unacceptable.
ketu in seventh results etc, never must one take the results verbatim , they succeptible to modification under many circumstances and combination. that makes this subject very difficult to understand .
if it is to be taken verbatim ,then all astrology would be only 144 predictions.
with 108 variations .
but this not observed , everyone of us has a unique experience and unique horoscope.
Infact astrology is never written in terms of predictions [phala bhaga] is only indicative] ,it is concepts that areof prime importance , since concepts need some elaborations ,a example is cited or predictive part is resorted to grasp the principle .
even punya accorded in learning and study of Astrology during Bramha yagnya , the phala bhaga does not give any punya . its the study of principles and ganit that gives half the punya of studying vedas.
so one must not learn astrology with a stress onto phala bhaga .

However please note the following notes,

Vashikarana does not mean controlling people against their wishes , let me explain through an example .
suppose three people boy A boy B and girl C are working in an office . All the three have an idea , they present it to their boss .
Boy A goes and puts forward his idea , boss rejects it .
Boy B goes to the boss and explains in detail with powerpoint presentation ,boss is impressed and accepts the idea.
Girl C at her attractive best , gives a smile and pushes forward a pile of notes on the idea, boss goes through it almost hypnotically accepts it without a second thought.
Boy B had better vashikaran than A , Girl C had successful vashikarana on the boss , in all the cases boss did not act against his wishes or he was not controlled , he accepted voluntarily . But for the boys it was vashikaranna.

its not right to blame our karma , these things happen , See even mother of Lord Rama [God himself] suffered widowhood. One who has given birth to a son who is and embodiment of very good and supreme lord could not have done bad karmas at any point of time . It is known as vidhi. Kunti the mother of mightiest Pandavas also suffered Widowhood can we blame them for their past karma or shall we say they were on the wrongside No way , only most virtuos woman could have given birth to such Devata like children . She spent most of the time alone and facing dangers almost all through her life .
One must accept vidhi with faith on God , he will definitely look after everyone. I shall mail you remedies . Sankranti is traversing of the sun from one sign to another ,it happens every month. But Makar sankranti is important and popular for
1. Lord Narayana wakes up from his yoganidra on this day.
2. It is summer solistice [uttarayana]
3. Just as we have day and night in 24 hours , so does There is day and night in Devalokas , but here a day is equivalent to our 360 days . So their sunrise begins at Makar Sankranti and evening at Karaka sankranti[dakshinayana].
This day is auspicious for shedding our sins . Thus Til snana ,til bhakshana ,til dana ,til homa, til tarpana ,til deepa naivedya Shad til karma is performed .til absolves sins quickly.
TilGud Ghya goda god bola [That's marathi]
Any karma gives 10000 times more results .

Anekajeeva vada
Is there only one soul or many souls in this creation. There is a section of philosophy which believes in presence of only one soul.Let us examine it.
If there is only one soul , then it must be assuming many rupas[bodies] .As we see many people in this world. However each person is different and has his own experiences. If all but only one soul exists in all these bodies then the experience in each of them should have been known to others as well. This is not seen in the practical world .
If we accept many soul [aneka jeeva vada] , then we can safely conclude that each has his own experience.
Are these souls equal?
Had they been equal , they should have all undergone similar experiences and consequences in their lives. very fact that these have varied experiences and reactions, shows souls are different from each other.
Also these souls are not independent as each is struggling to overcome grief and yet finds himself bound by a situation[samsara]. Who is responsible for it? Thus we have to accept that there is a higher being than souls who controls , binds and relieves these souls.
This higher being is known as Parmatma ,distinctly different from Atma.

Sir,
What would be the generic life result of an Exalted Sun with Rahu in the 7th house for Tula Lagna in the chart of a female. Also, Mercury (6H) and Jupiter (Retrogade – 11H) are vargottama. Most of the literature uniformly seems to suggest that Sun in the 7th house is not a good place for it to be. Does exaltation make any difference to this placement?

In one of the posts above on Sankranti, you have stated that Makar Sankranti is popular because it is Summer solistice [uttarayana]. But this was true about 2000 years ago. Now, due to precession of equinoxes (paranchan gati), Sun enters makar rashi on January 14 i.e. 23 days later than uttarayana day. Also this uttarayana day is Winter solistice and not Summer solistice as stated by you.

Womens character is not judged by planetary position in rasi chart at all. Mere affliction of venus does not render someone questionable. Venus is karaka for marriage ,union etc , its affliction definitely hinders such happiness , sun and shani in the seventh does indicate that your husband will be quick to point fingers at you . But it will definitely give marriage as lagna and seventh are together , it will be marriage with mutual liking and sacrifice against wishes of father.

Dear Chiraan, In your AntahKapat article you mention that person having a Rahu or Mars and Saturn in 4th house has evil inclinations. I have Rahu and Saturn in the 4th house (Pisces).
I have never wished any evil or bad intentions to anyone or ever desire to.

The reply was in the context of whether wife and husband pair only of seven births ? The reply was almost everytime they pair [ie same pair remains] but exceptionally they get sepearted even in births , in such cases they remain so for max seven births only [ not neccessarily seven] . Except Bharathi and Vayu all the pairs get disturbed sometime or the other on account of sins or neglect , but this sin soon makes them realize to get back to their original pair as early as possible and then on a woman starts her sadhana [ through pativarat] .
eternally Man and woman are paired without begining and they remain so even in moksha.
This however applies only to satvik people only .
Tamasic people keep on sinning ,multiple marrriages/relationships being one of them ,they keep falling in hell again and again withou relief . Now whether its the same soul that enter multiple relationship again or not is subject to karma.A woman normally if snubs a man sincerely in relationship with her , then they end up as wife and husband in next birth where the husband illtreats the wife and wife tries to get away from the relationship.

on a uspicious day shanti has to be done placing four kalash of bramha vishnu rudra and indra on a paddy.

parents should see their relections in ghee in a bronze vessel.

dattatreya yaag is carried for yoga sadhana and gain of knowledge of spirituality .
Hanuman homa is done to keep evil away or get the desired , its done after 42 days of hanuman upasana and saptaka purashcharana , it is very elaborate and might take seven to eight hours to complete.
pavaman homa is done with pavaman sukta and is very auspicious for the householder .this also usually takes eight hours.

There is no compulsion that kundalis should match , if there isconviction tocarry a relationship till end facing all hardships ,then marriage is better option .but when kunadalis dont match problems and unhappiness is bound to come . one usually givesupfacedwith odds . so elders advice caution and usually avoid.
But if uhave promised a girl marriage then you must keep it.
breaking promises and ditching people isfar more a sin then thinking about kundalis . All this should be thought before entering a relationship and not afterwards ,else it can be termed shying away.

white patches are formed in this birth when a oath taken before the lord or a temple is not fiulfilled in that birth [previous] knowingly.
it is also formed if one performs pooja in an inebriated conditions.

What is the effect of two neecha planets aspecting each other?
Whether ucha or neecha or retrograde, shadbala strength is enough to assess the planet helpfulness?
sometimes shadbala strength is good, but ishta phala, kashta phala is poor, then how to assess, can we ignore this.

ishta phala kasta phala ,represents amount of happiness that planet gives during s its dasa. sometimes people tend to sigh at the end of a dasa , it was a good period or i almost lost everything …… etc due to ishta and kashta phala. however shadbala gives quantum of each effect that planet gives as a yoga . in one psot on strengths i have even sown calculations demonstrating this, the net result in a chart rashi divisional is shubha pankti X shadbala , so if a planet is paramaneecha then shubha pankti is 0 thus 0 X shadbala = 0 thus no good result whatsoever be strength. but ashubh pankti is 60 so 60 X shadbala is ashubha. neecha planet aspecting neecha is like near and dear deserting after a mishap. however three neecha planet is raj yoga. also if th eneecha planets two are sixth and eighth lords then also one will get rajya.

Shadbala for a planet is attained after taking into consideration of its neecha / uccha positions, then in that case looking at the over all strength derived from shadbala showed a good rupa, is it not sufficient to go by that judging its dasa will be good or we still need to consider its neecha position also.

MAntra should be prayed wihout sound to get highest results , with sound only heard by self, it is medium, audible to all , it is less effective . a shloka can be recited 10 27 54 108 times as per capacity.

What has been mentioned is according to Srivaishnava tradition declared during Ramanuja’s time , MAdhvacharya has descended after this period hence udupi was not present at that time as Krishna abode, only Chandramouleshwar temple was there.
KArnataka was predominantly a shaiva dominated place and srivaishnavas could not penetrate these regions. However all other places like gujrat mathura badri , etc have been presided by Srivaishnav tradition priests , thus they have mentioned only these places .
As from the puranas and tradition and that was told to me by parents and guru , there are nine Vishnu swayamvyakta places . eigth Lakshmi sthana and 108 shakti peethas , 12 Shiva shana and so on.
nine Vishnu svayamyakta are Tirupati, Badri , Srirangam , Jagannathpuri, udupi, Pandharpur, Ashwath narayan, GAya , Kanchi ;
KAnyakumari, srinagar , Tirupati ,Mookambika,Kolhapur , Kalighatta,Mahalakshmi ,Bhubhneshwar
KAmakshi ,vishalakshi,Meenakshi etc are all shakti peetha
Amarnath,KEdar ,mahabaleshwar srisailam ,etc are all shivasthanas.
but puranas say ,
kanchi,maya,gaya,mathura,ayodhya,avantika,kashi sapthaidha mokshdha .

I have one basic question on Calculation of Gandanta.
I have come across 2 school of thoughts.
FIRST
While reckoning the gandanta in terms of the arc of the zodiac, we must take last 66.67 arc min of the last Nakshatra of the watery signs and the first 40 arc mins of the first Nakshatra of the fiery signs.
SECOND
Gandanta means planet between last 3 deg of jalatatwa rasi and first 3 deg of agnitatva rasi
For example – If the Birth takes place when lagna is between ‘Aslesha (Cancer) – Magha (Leo) junction’, then which of the following is a correct
As per first school of thought –

Before answering your question I would like to highlight a issue , Guru is a mortal , He cannot be equated with Vishnu or any othe devata , the shloka mentioned above is from Advaita tradition , but equates a mortal Guru with God , its a sin to equate humans or soul with Lord Vishnu , ,who present antargata Guru who gives us the education and not that guru is sakshat Vishnu . Vishnu is antargata Hanuman in Guru , this anusandhana is appropriate . it will give MOksha .

Next Lagna gandanta is last half ghatika of piseces and first half ghatika of Aries , similarly cancer-leo scorpio-dhanu . lagna exists for 5 ghati . out of this one ghati at the sandhi is gandanta , and during travel ,birth and other auspicious work this brings about death. shanti is must .

DOB 1-3-1951 at about 1.05PM. place Karnal. Prefofessionally qualified and have reasonably good earning. Happoily married since 14 April 1984. This was second marriage. Wife is also working with good job. Two children, a boy (DOB 07-10-1987 at about 10 AM at Aurangabad) and a girl (DOB 16-1-1986 at about 5 PM at Chandigarh). 1st marriage in 1979/80 ended in a short time. Both the children are not doing good in studies after high school. Both are smart and intelligent but are not committed and focused in studies. Easily attracted to bad things.

I have one question on aspects of Rahu and Ketu.
When we consider the relationship of a planet we take into account it’s placement, it’s ownership and it’s aspect. Now in case of rahu and ketu it is said that they adopt the behavior of the sign in which they are placed.
I have come across 2 school of thoughts -
1.First School of Thought – Rahu-Ketu, being nodes, are not said to have aspect like the other grahas (7th house) and behave according to the Rashi and the Nakshatra they are placed in OR according the the strength of the planet joining them in their house.
2.Second School of Thought – Rahu influences 4(5 according to some scholars) houses – the house it is placed in and 5, 7 and 9th(few say 12th also in reverse direction). Ketu, being the tail, is blind and hence definitely has no aspect.
What is the correct statement to make on the Aspect (Drishti) of Rahu and Ketu on other houses / signs?
How to arrive at the vedha caused by Rahu on different houses?
I sincerely look forward for your divine guidance on this.

We suffer because of our past karma , there is always a scope for the people to ask . ” OK , I have done that , now I want to improve ,is there any way out , can I get rid of this sin ? ” for this purpose a prayashchit has been ordained in shashtras .

Coming back to your question , one must do remedies according to one’s capacity only . remedies give fruits not by homa japa or tapa but by the grace of Devata we are appeasing through these japa tapa etc . One must resort to appease the Devata [ suppose astrologer says pray garuda , then one must pray "Garudantargata Sriman Narayana " only and not as garuda the independent giver , It is only Narayana as present in all the devatas gives results ]
If one does remedies with less splendour than ones capacity , it is known as ” VIttashattya” [ it means if you can afford Rs 100 as dana and yet make only Rs 10 as dana it is known as Vittashattya and will deprive one off fruits ] .
But when one does not have anything , Bhagavadgeeta says ” Phalam Pushpam Patram Toyam ” fruits , flowers ,leaves and even water is enough to Please Krishna when offered with devotion .
so one can pray lord even with just water to attain the desired , devotion is important . if you are richer then one must resort to better and better solutions , finally devotion counts .

I have studied many books, in all books lord shiva always defeated by krishna/vishnu.
But in shiva purana the writer wrote vishnu was defeated by shiva.
Very intrestingly in ohter books shakti is superior than all other gods including vishnu,shiva and brahmma.
Why such great people putting confusing ordinary people just like us.
If god is same why all are these differences?
Why should these no.of gods?
In other religions they have only one god? but in our Hinduism there are so many gods.
Why this diffarences like great,low or high in gods?

At the onset I commend you having put such beautiful question for the benefit of all ;
The writers are not different for different Purana , Like shiva purana ,linga purana ,extols SHiva as the greatest , Skanda puraan , Ganapatya agam , Devi mahatyam , etc extoll skanda , Ganapty or Shakti as the highest . But all these 18 puraanas are written by Vedvyasa only . Vedvyasa is incarnation of Vishnu . Of these 18 puraanas 6 are satvik puranas , 6 are rajasik puraana , 6 are tamasik puraanas . Whatever written in Satvik are to be accepted without any disputes , Rajasik and Tamasik puranas contain illusionary statements according to VYasa himself . Only those statements which are in unison with the Vedas and satvik Puraanas are to be accepted rest rejected . these words are from Padma and Varaha puraana .
The puraanas which extoll others as great other than Vishnu , comes under either rajasik or tamasik puraanas . Vedas are considered highest authority , satvik puranas as secondary and Pancharatra agama and Ramayana and Mahabharata are also secondary authorities after Vedas . Vedas say only Vishnu is the GOD rest are all Souls , and souls can be devata[ deities, rishis , kings and men of high qualities ] [some souls are also men of low qualities and rakshas danavas , pisachas etc] Satvik puranas also tell Vishnu as the only God [ Paramatma] rest are all atmas[ jeeva] .
So there are not many Gods in santana dharma too !
There is only ONE GOD PARAMATMA VISHNU
Paramatma is different from Atma [jeeva] ..
Atma is always dependent and subservient to Paramatma .
Among jeevas there is gradation as low and high , it starts from VAyu as the greatest , then Garuda Sesha Rudra Indra Surya and so on in that decreasing order and ends with men of good qualities .

Shiva swallowed the whole poison and not vayu.SO he is called neelkanth.
why would somebody keep a serpant around his neck as a soothing effect.This is not mentioned anywhere in puranas.
So many things emerged from ocean like kamadhenu,airavat etc.How did the rakshasas did not get 50 percent of share of what all came from the ocean.

Shiva is neither equal or greater than Vishnu , Vedas declare so.
Shiva himself says so in Garuda purana to his wife Parvati that €� my beloved , I had drunk a bit of halahal poison by chanting the vishnu mantra [achyutanand Govinda] ,which enabled me to keep it through my throat €� Bramhanda purana also mentions Shiva having consumed a bit of poison only by the grace of Lord Vishnu €� .
Vedas declare Vayu as having drunk the complete Kaalkuuta ,because he has a jatharagni in his belly be name Vruk hence he is known as VRUKODARA , which enables him to eat up and digest entire universe at pralaya without efforts [ poison is also part of the universe].
Vishnu is known as €� Keshava€� k sh va ; k means Bramha , esh is shiva [ isha] and va menas one who gives boons[vara] to these Bramha and Shiva , only superior can give boons to others . Shiva having recieved boons and protection from Vishnu [ Bhasmasura episode] is always subservient to VIshnu and Vayu . As Vayu is his Father.
There is no bias in the article or philosophy ,it brings out reality/Truth [ reality or Truth need not be popular ,yet remains truth on its own] . Vishnu is the greatest both as per Puranas and Vedas .
WHy Rahu is retrograde always beacuse anything that is in Bhuvarloka has a gati due to Pravaha Vayu , and pasha [gravitational pull towards Dhruva Pole star] . In a plane when things are moving away from each other , each seem to have retrograde motion with respect to the other.
50% was shared by the Rakshasas , but the things were distributed among Indra [ king of Devatas] and Balichakravarti [king of Daityas] , so equally things got distributed among them , but only inauspicious were given to demons , which we have ommited , and mentioned only Madya . Auspicious and inauspicious came one after the other so for every wealth and precious article there is equivalent with Bali in Patala and other nether worlds.

Sri Mahalaxmi , has three roles of satva raja tamas , praying stree devata alone increases tamas and ahankar , so stree devatas should always be prayed alongwith their husband. LAxmi devi always waits for the people to see whether they extoll her husband , if not she snatches away all the wealth by giving moha . as giving moha and ahankara is also the characteristic of this Upasana [ like kali , laxmi ,chowdeshwari ,lalita etc] it is fraught with danger of falling down . But Visnu bhakti is natural result and gain when prayed to Hanuman , because lord dwell in hanuman purely to help satvik . He also dwell eslewhere but elsewhere he is under other purpose . So praying Hanuman is safe bet and brings only good results , alongwith Srilaxmi’s blessings and we pass her test too .
While your ishta devta can be Srilaxmi , Mukhya devata should be Vishnu and Guru should be Hanuman .

Kedar Nath: I am very curious to know all about Pitr Dosh and its Nivaran. useful remedies as suggested in our Vedas. Also please clarify what is the best time to do Sharrad’s, in the early morning, afternoon or evening. Your valuable expertise and guidance will surely give a new path of light.
Swami Ramswarup: Pitr means those who look after us to educate, to nurse, and to protect us etc. So the said dignitaries are mother, father, grandfather, elders, acharya, etc., so the pitr who have gone heavenly abode, for those no pitr dosh is there.
Vedas are eternal knowledge direct from God wherein such kaal sarp yog, pitr dosh etc., are not mentioned, please. So you need not to worry. Please try to do havan daily even from gayatri mantra, which is a great worship of God and will give you benefit. The meaning of kaal is also time. So death comes according to time for which the God has given life to us. This is all based on our previous lives’ pious deeds and sins. So there is no effect of kaal sarp yog, pitr dosh etc., in the life, but effect of deeds (karmas) only. So, one must do always pious deeds to be happy. Present pious deeds can burn our previous deeds also and life’s time can also be extended wide Yajurveda mantra 3/62.
SHRADH-at the time of death, the soul comes out of the body and when a person is dead, his body is burnt on pyre. When soul resides in human body, person uses his mouth to eat, ear to listen, eye to see, hand to work, legs to move etc. Now the body has been burnt and the soul remains alone. Alone soul can do nothing but remains in the stage of Sushupt i.e., like in coma. Then after thirteen days, the soul takes rebirth. So how the dead person would eat the food which is made for him during shradh? So shradh is not mentioned in Vedas. Vedic meaning of shradh is to serve the alive parents and elders by providing them with food, bedding and necessary goods etc., faithfully and lovingly. My blessings to you.

AT the onset I do not know who these personalities are who have given their opinion . So before contradicting their statements with the relevant pramanas , I still mean no contempt towards these as some of the sentences are also correct . Also I feel there intention is to say when in kaliyuga when it is widley known that pitru shraddhas will not be offered owing to intermixing and also modern way of life , it is best left to resort to havan and homas for better future.
Having said that , I would like to point out certain irregularities in the statement ;
Viz : Pitru dosha and kaal sarpa is not mentioned ……………….
every purana has a separate section deliberating on sharddha and sections like importance of gaya kashi ,sethu etc and importance of shraddha at these places are well recorded. Whole of Vayu purana at large dwell with the Shraddha and its detail performance.
Pitru dosha exists can be seen fom the fact that Yudhisthir was prompted to undertake
” RAjsuya ” YAGNYA by sage Narada to give a better place to Pandu in the swarga . Pandu was unhappy at seeing Harishchandra given better treatment ,and it was his wish that his progeny do something to achieve the post , this unhappiness of Pitru causes sleepless nights to Yudhisthir and hence the dosha : that he should do Rajsuya yaaga was the remedy suggested by Narada [ surely Narada could not have spelt something which is not mentioned in Vedas ]
In Ramayana Vashishtha explains to Rama as to how dead partake food[pinda] offered in Shraddha and prompts Rama to perform pinda dana even in vanvasa . Whereby after the shraddha ,there is mention of Dasharath blessing his son after partaking the pinda .
Soul is not in the sushupti after death . Every day offering of the food during ten days after death shows increase in the size of the body[ preta deha ] of the departed. [IN fact at no point after having brought into creation soul is in sushupti except during sleep ] After thirteen days , full grown body takes up a journey towards yamapuri for whole one year .
Garuda Purana is testimony to it . so immediately there is no rebirth ,it is only after one year .[least]
Kaal sarpa yoga is different for different people , its presence is known to have affected “Parikshit” , “Arjun” etc , Sarpasukta mentions it sarpasukta is from vedas .
So remedies regarding pitru dosha and sarpa shapa are all justified .

Mars in 1,4,7,8,12 is considered manglik for women , women concerned will face widowhood , if mars is aspected by benefics no dosha exists , if two people having same dosha marry dosha ceases .
there is no remedy as such , but women can undertake , vatsavitri vrat etc to inrease longevity of husband.

I have one question after reading those articles – whenever you found any solution as a result of your Guruji’s blessings, for example, resolving your business problems or being blessed with a wonderful wife, did you also see those events indicated in your birth chart by your astrological knowledge? If those events were indicated in your birth chart, do you believe that Guruji’s blessings made them happen or would the events have happened anyway?

THis is indeed a very good question , to elaborate I must highlight one point that , my seventh house lord is debilitated but aspected by jupiter . Being debilitated one cannot expect marital bliss , but aspect of jupiter shows divine grace can change all that . BUt one has to witness to believe , merely one cannot hope that a simple aspect of jupiter can bring whooping changes in ones’ destiny over that bhava . Here Jupiter’s aspect ensured that I had divine blessings , but finally things happened because of blessings is a fact . So the credit goes to one giving blessings . similarly business is indicated by seventh house , again jupiter aspects seventh house as well .
to elaborate more , in one of the posts I had written that a certains king’s son was prematurely dead . But swamiji retrieves his life . For all it is miracle because death was a reality . and retrieval was also a fact . But when asked , swamiji would say , he had some longevity left and God obliged his request . had he not any longevity even I cannot retrieve life as death is imminent .
So what is correct , retrieval a blessing or a consequence .I would say it is blessing only , because for every effect there has to be a mean or karak . Like somebody wins a war , even if its destined we give him laurel for having fought , we dont dismiss it as oh it was destined anyway !

gotras for bramhins are known through their father and lineage , for others it is known through their teachers and social setup , for some still it can be understood by family astrologers or family purohits , for some it can be known from their sub caste reference in local popular panchanga in their native. if nothing is known then all human beings have emanated from sage kashyap , thus kashyap is common gotra for all who dont know their gotra.

1. I am planning a trip to Badrinath from Bangalore via Delhi. My family (me, wife and daughter) and my mother in law will be in Delhi on 16th May and we are booked to return from Delhi on 21st evening. Since my mother in law does not take water outside we cannot stay at any hotel, Is there any Uttaradhi or Rair Mutt where we can stay enroute to Badri? What are the expected pooja/samkara that needs to be done at Badri ( and whether we will have time to complete all these)?
2. Secondly I am starting this journey on Chandrastama day as this was the only available holiday slot. Placing my burden on Lord Narayana I am proceeding but my mind is anxious about the inauspicious muhurtha of journey. Is there any parihaar I could do before the start to overcome the chandrastama effect?

you can stay at the raghavendra swamy temple at motibagh[rao tulamarg] delhi Rk puram . it is big and provides staying facilities for pilgrims towards Badri. Karnataka sangh adjacent to mutt also provides accomodation [akin to hotel rooms] . The mutt employess will also assist you in booking a place for you in mutt at badri for food etc . rooms at badri are costly . if you hav parents , except dev pooja archana etc nothing special is required , a sankalpa snan will be advised . If not then you can perform shradh at the bramha kapal . pitru tarpana .
regarding chandrashtam , before starting get a magalashtak recitation at raghavendra swamy temple , donate coconut , bananas ,dakshina . and shakadana for the period of journey . Get a prokshana seva for all the family . after 16 pranayamas leave the house when the breath is in the left nostril . repeat this when you reach delhi .

I did contact the Sri Raghavendra Swamy mutt while the food part is taken care they were unable to help with stay both in Delhi or Badri. Perhaps we may have to figure out at other mutts like Anant or Krishna mutt. I will post my findings for the benefit of others who would visit your site.

you can stay in delhi , there is a big hall on the first floor with ,bedding given by the manager . the hall can accomodate atleast 50 people ,with very good bath facilities . just attached is karnataka sangh , walk in and book your room it is five floor building only for karnataka residents . similarly is badri poised .

Place a coconut before the Raghavendra swamy , make a sankalpa of the recitation of shloka as Raghavenra guru prerita raghavendra swamy antargata mukhyapranantargat Laxminarayana prithyartham . recite the mantra . after that donate the coconut to the temple and give for hastodaka .
thus you are now initiated ,into the narayan kavach.

Every lagna is divided into tatvas and by knowing the time of tatava rising male or female can be known
brothers and sisters can be known through yogas if present or through number of navammsas occupied by lord of third
no ayanamsa is correct , 360 days savan have to be taken for dashas .
mandi and gulika are eighth part of the day and rasi rising at the time contains gulika , it is saturns son , indicates type of death .
fourth lord in navamsa indicates the spouse and her profession
Parashar has mentioned rahu and ketu in hora shastra all through . he has even given rulership to ketu and rahu .
marriage event is timed by kalchakra dasha . navamsa dasha
try to find the the day which is having same moon rashi as in dwadashamsa chart of the new born child and seven -ten months before , that is conception chart .
lagnamsa is navamsa lagna , karakamsa is navamsha rasi of atmakaraka
when somebody takes part in a race certain people come third fourth and some take pride in participation alone , these are the results of 1/4 etc , when we say we almost got it but lost in the nth moment , then this also due to other aspects . futile attempts arise out of such aspects . they do not make much consequence hence not counted , however , two planets benefic in trikona makes for a full aspect benefic and can change results , hence two benefics in a kona is taken into consideration . two malefics in chaturasra can also be dangerous for the same reason

As the kaliyuga dawned , many puranas were altered , some additions were made to suit certain interpretation and aome were deleted to suppress original meaning .
Srimadanand teertha has come down and corrected many versions . A particular point mentioned in one text should also be backed up by another text of equal importance , finally it should be in coherence with Vedic culture .
The facts mentioned by you does not find mention in any other texts . So is not authentic.

Ifor last 1and a half year I am facing bad phase of my life, hv lost my wife(she commited suicide), inlaws took my daughter and filed dowry case, false eligation, life is a mess now. ans: One has to perform karma with nishkaam bhava , but this is not possible to the best of souls also , they sometimes do karma with attachement and excessive flow of emotions. Thus they generate excessive punya . Like Laxman develops excessive punya by serving RAMA
This excessive punya is hinderance to Moksha . this has to be exhausted or nullified by equivalent sins.
The Lord takes that decision, he makes Balram elder and makes him go against HIM [his decisions] and order HIM ,abuse HIM[syamantak mani episode] to reduce his punya.
2.In Ramayana ,Rama also had 3 other brothers which was not seen in any other avatara?what was the need for them and whose incarnations are they?
ans: Bharat was Manmath avatar Shatrughna was Anirudhdha Avatara .
These were also born in Dwapar as Krishna’s son Samba and Anirudhdha .
All the devatas have taken birth during both Rama and Krishnavatar. to do their sadhana

ands: Ravan was astrologer par excellence. He knew his end and if you read Adhyatma Ramayana by Shiva , you will understand that Every day RAVANA used to go to the tower top and plead Oh RAM when are you going to come and relieve me. With every Crime he committed Ravan used to introspect now Vishnu will get angry and come and kill me.
His every dialogue with Seeta if interpreted properly brinngs out extreme reverence to LAXMI .

ans: Karna always knew He was a Kshatriya and Kuntisuta as Sun was talking to him everyday . It was the presence of demon that makes him side with Duryodhan and wage war. Demons do not believe in astrology or GOD they are all vipareetgyanis .

ans: Saturn in rohini shakata is destructive and not in Rohini star . Rohini shakata bheda is once in a yuga phenomenon and not every 30 years .
Finally even evil knows it is doing wrong but it persisits to antagonize GOD . the proof lies in Duryuodhana statement :
Janami Dharmam na cha me pravrittih, janami adharmam na cha me nivrittih! Kenapi deven hridi sthiten yatha niyuktah, asmi tatha karomi!! I know what is righteous behaviour, I know what is evil. I however act according to the dictates of some god who dwells in my heart.

krishna was considered as an avatara to be born and widely looked upon by people and revered by them as God even in his bala roop.He performed Miracles like Govardhanagiri episode,killing rakshasas,five headed serpent even before he attained 10 yrs.And when he killed kamsa,people were quite clear that he was an incarnation of God as the asreeri had announced befor that god will come in human form to kill kamsa
My questions are
1.I believe kamsa could have been a cruel king and a mighty warrior.Did he have any boon from trimurthis that he will be immortal.What was necessary for mahavishnu to be born in mortal form and kill him.I know the dwarabalakas story where they ask for vimochan saying that they want to reach gods abode by abusing him soon in three birth.But still i am not convinced of the power of kamsa as he believed nobody could kill him .Kamsa was not known to conquer the three worlds as Ravana did nor did he have godly powers like ravana to move from one loka to another nor to get divya astras at his will using his maya/magic like ravana..what was so special about him which required krishna to be born?
2.Though gokulam and Hasthinapura people knew about the power and miracles of krishna ,still Duryodhan and his men did not want krishna to side him yet longed for his army.Did they not know god was on their side?Did not the four learned acharyas-bheesma,drona and two others know Krishna to be the supreme soul?
3,If the above statement was strong,was the instance of viswaroopha by krishna shown to arjuna is the first time krishna is portraying himself as god to the public.
4.Did balarama fight the war of mahabharata?his achievements if any?
5.who killed NArakasura?krishna or Sathyabama?Whose son was NArakasura

Kamsa had boon of bramha , Jarasandha was considered invincible in those days , Kamsa had created fear in Jarasandha’s mind , Thus Krishna killing him proved Jarasandha was no match.
Duryodhan did go to get Krishna on his side , But Arjun who was sitting at the feet was the first seen by Krishna and Lord gave him the first chance to ask , Arjun asked Krishna to be on his side. Duryodhan as a consolation got army
Duryoddhan also knew Krishna to be lord.
Krishna had shown Vishwaroop to Dhritarashtra in sandhi episode. when Kaauravas and Karna try to imprison him.
Balaram killed many rakshasa , he single handedly terrified KAuravas , bheeshma ., karna and Duryodhan with his halayudha and dragged entire hastinapur into ganga. Balaram also sent back Jarasandha with his mace .
Narkasur was son of VARAHA and BHUDEVI , he was killed by Krishna ,

Shri Hari is NEVER born in mortal FORM. All His avataras are always Purna having NO prakrita shrira of any kind. He never possesses sthula sharira or linga deha etc.

Krishna as Sarathi
The mahabharath is the war of senses on behalf of virtues and vices.KAuravas are vices [sins] and pandavas army is set of virtues[punya] . Bheeshma ,Drona ,Kripa ,pandavas etc are all senses . There is great friction that arises in this war that a man [soul] faces everyday.Lord does not interfere directly in this process . Yet he guides the sadhana of the soul [ Arjun] as charioteer seated in the chariot named life. Krishna is pandavpakshapati [ favoured towards pandavas] HE aspires destruction of kauravas [sins , agyana,vipareet gyana] and leads to Moksha.As krishna does not interact directly we see many a times illusions and sadness in our life. We can overcome them only by abiding by him in our sadhana . ie keep faith in his sarathya. That means as krishna drives our chariot ,he is liable to take us anywhere according to his wishes. We must never doubt his intentions as to where he will take us and keep complete faith him that he will lead us out of darkness . At no time should we feel we are commanding him because as sarathi he should take us to the place of our choice as well . But do we know the right destination. If we start assuming our independence over him ,it is a folly and leads to destruction like duryodhan and his brothers.But if we totally surrender to him like Arjun , we will win the war of senses and rein supreme with dharma on our side .

Krishna drives our chariot means , our lives are contrlled by Lord according to our karma.
But in ususal worldy scenario its the one who seats on back seat who commands driver to the destination and driver obeys!
here also Krishna drives , but we do make mistake of commanding him by nurturing desires . we feel our life should be such and such way [ whether we deserve it or not is differnt issue] . BUt we strongly desire , when our karma does not permit . if krishna does not take us to our choice desires , we feel unhappy . We doubt the credentials of our driver , We go against him . BUT yet Krishna is the supreme boss . Leading a desireless life is akin to completely leaving it on Krishna to drive our vehicle , having complete faith in him that he will lead us to MOksha and on he way he will also give us all the desired. Like Arjun we shall always be protected and reap fame and victory !

prayaschita involves declaring ones sins in a dharma sabha [usually consisting of 10- 20 elders ] and then accepting the prayaschitta as given , ususally prayaschitta involves , standing neck deep in river and chanting Stotras In some cases it is going without food for a day and two nights . Recently I had a dream which is still fresh in my mind.Please help me to understand as what does it signfy:
I had a dream that I am standing outside a house in a village with my father and all of a sudden saw a big snake at some distance. Then I went a ahead and all of a sudden saw a smaller snake (it was child of the bigger one)coming towards me…I jumped over it so that it could go ahead on his way…it was so sudden that I literally jump and wake up…It was a morning dream and the snake was quite different. It was full of colours with lots of legs which made it move faster than usual.

- *Dasharath took the help of Vashishtha to beget Lord Rama with yagnya . he did not resort to just Prayer to beget Son .*
– Arjun gained Astras to fight , though he had Krishna by his side , why additional pashupataastras[ akin to stones] from SHIVA .?
- So gaining stones and praying graha is akin to analogy above.
These example shows us that we must seek help of deities and preists to solve our problems.

But the amount of toil is indicative. so if someone spends 10 minutes in pooja room and say I have prayed GOD and now i dont bother rahas and bad period is self inflicting .

Kalki avatar is 4lakhs 27 years later , a that time human size will be that of just two inches. is it so difficult to kill crores of two inch guys. GOD kills entire universe at pralaya.

Born in a Bramhin family in Sambal gam to Vishnuyasa , he will have mighty sword and superfast horse, he would kill all the mletchhs with a lightning speed.

Moksha is uninterrupted happiness forever . just as we have freinds family and sons ,so also we have wife sons and friends in moksha too and here there is only happiness . we have all kinds of gardens , ornaments and enjoyments hereto never imagined on earth in moksha.

Moksha is Sayujya sarupya salokya samipya of four types. Enetering Vaikuntha is Moksha , because Vaikuntha has no return and no unhappiness only happiness . Vaikuntha is the body of Vishnu so entering this oka is akin to entering Vishnu. Samipya is being very close to Vishnu in the city of AYODHYA which ios capital of Vaikuntha.Sarupya means All the people in moksha have four hands and resemble Vishnu [ but not equal to Vishnu] But Lord is differentiated by Presence of Srivatsa chinha.

For several years in my early to late 20s, I was doing many papaas & nIcha karyas (smoking, drinking, watching lewd movies etc), although now I am penitent and have stopped at least smoking and drinking completely. I have not been able to stop the last shameful thing completely though. I tried out several things like ekadashi vrata, harinama sankeerthane, guru rayara smarane etc, but since I am not able to be sincere, I am still not able to come out of the myre. Basically I have lost confidence in myself and my esteem is also very low. Is there anything I can do to improve my character, get a focussed attitude and obtain sincere hari vAyu guru bhakthi? Pls help.

get the upadesha of dattatreya mantra , this will give practise of bramhacharya easily .
but before that you have to create ojas in your body . lack of ojas is what making you succumb to the shortfalls of mind. eat lot of cow ghee , if you are married try yogic sex . if not try shirsasan and achieve to reamin in that position for atleast 12 minutes. you will automatically withdraw from such occurences. But then you must not say you have become impotent and watch another lewd movie to test yourselves. watching is like putting samit [sticks /wood] in fire . the more you put more it ignites . lesser is the wood lesser will be the fire ; similarly man and woman are like butter and fire . man being the butter , in the presence of fire butter melts this is natural , no remedy for it thus manu says , a person should not sit on the palce asan [ cot, furniture or sofa] with awoman even if it is mother sister or daughter. the reason is butter melts , and this should be avoided and not experimented to keep the butter solid . As for man MAnu says even a wooden doll of woman like features makes him unstable so there is no recourse for a man to escape the arrows of cupid . the only recorse is shelter in hari . THAT MEANS ONE MUST BE AWARE OF ABOVE GIVEN POINTS EVERYTIME ALLTHE TIME.
