Kartyaviryarjuna , Astrology and Ravan

When two planets try to reach same degree of ascension , they are said to be in a state of war. The planet in the south direction is declared as defeated in war. Such a situation in a horoscope gives upheavals, exposure to defeats,calamities and riots etc. However when the two planets are of equal strength then interesting results are to be seen , For example.

Kartyaviryarjuna had 1000 hands ,He could stop entire flow of a river with his hands. He was the incarnation of sudarshan of Sriman NARAYANA. He was a great devotee of Datttatreya. With his devotion he obtained secrets of Yogashastra from Dattatreya lord. and obtained boons like deathlessness, always having victory , never ever getting exhausted in a war. etc.

On the other hand Ravan did penace for 36000 years and obtained boons for not facing death from all and everyone except Humans and monkeys. Now in his quest to test his boon Ravan attacked every mighty person, he knew ,during his times. Ravan attacked Indra took swarga, he attacked Kubera and snatched Pushpak vimana and Lanka puri. Then he attacked all yaksha gandharvas and took their cities . He attacked Kailash was struck under it for which he had to repent. Then he attacked Vayu but Lord Vayu showed him his 3crore rupa and out of which only one rupa slapped him to unconsciousness. Ravan never dared to go there again. He went to Sutal Loka to attack Bali was kicked by Vaman back to the earth. Then Ravan attacks Bali,Bali takes him round the earth thrice clutching his twenty arms , this exhausts Ravan , He makes friendship with Bali .

Then Ravan attacks Kartyaviryarjuna. Both fight for one thousand years but no one wins or looses. Because both had obtained similar boons. So Bramha asks them to sign a peace pact as to no one will enter each others territory. Thus Ravan faced many defeats in his life despite having many boons of invincibility .Rama never asked for any boons to anyone. Yet \He killed Ravan and triumphed everywhere, showing HE is supreme and does not require any boons from anyone. He is the giver of boons to both BRAMHA AND SHIVA hence he is known as KESHAVA .
